Privacy policy

Applies to: Investmaxxing (Android app and web version) and edstudios.app. Last updated: 7 October 2026.

The short version

• You don't need an account to play, and we never ask for your name, email or phone number.
• Your game progress is saved on your own device.
• If you send feedback from inside the game, we receive what you write plus a few game details (version, chapter, device type). We use it only to improve the game.
• We don't sell data, show ads, or use advertising trackers.

What we collect

Game progress

Your save (character name, choices, in-game money and progress) is stored on your device only. We cannot see it. Uninstalling the app or clearing your browser data deletes it.

Feedback you choose to send

The game has a feedback form. If you use it, we receive: your answers, an optional email address if you choose to give one, the game version, your chapter and in-game month, a summary of recent in-game choices, and basic device information (operating system, screen size). Nothing is sent unless you press Send.

Anonymous gameplay statistics

To see where players get stuck, the game may send anonymous events such as "chapter 2 started" or "mini-game finished, score 12". These are linked to a random ID created on your device, not to you. They contain no name, email, contacts, location or advertising ID.

What we never collect

Real money, payment details, contacts, photos, precise location, microphone or camera. The game involves no real money: all investing in the game is simulated.

How we use it and who sees it

Feedback and statistics are used only to fix bugs and improve the game. They are stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and are not shared with or sold to anyone else. We may quote feedback anonymously when discussing the game.

How long we keep it

Feedback and anonymous statistics are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.

Children

Investmaxxing is made for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through feedback, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can play without ever sending feedback. To have feedback you sent deleted, email us with roughly when you sent it and what it said, and we will remove it.

Investmaxxing is a game. Its markets, companies and characters are fictional and simplified. Nothing in it is financial advice.
